"Libby"
This is Libby. She is a smaller black Labrador Retriever. Weighing in at 47lbs, she is a very fast and agile bitch. And what a leaper. She can jump flat footed and the bottom of her belly will be at Tim's eye level. which is around 6 foot.
Libby's sire has produced quit a few nice dogs. One NFC-AFC, one FC-AFC, two FCs, one AFC, a FC-CFC-CAFC, several All-Age dogs, and to many Hunt Test titled offspring. He is also a littermate to a NFC-AFC female.
Her dam has produced several nice dogs, that were sold to hunting homes. Including AFC Super High Flyer(Fly). Fly qualified and ran the '08 &' 09 National Amateur and has his Open Win(only lacking a point for his FC title).
Libby was bought to only be guide/hunting/companion dog. And she excels in this aspect, but she was also doing Derby level marks before a year old. At that time, we didn't care about that side of the dog games. That is usually the way it goes though. With that said, don't let the lack of titles deminish her. She is a finished retriever. And I would love to have her again as a 2 year old playing the Field Trial game. There is no doubt in my mind she would excel, as she is the best natural marker I have yet to own!!!
In her two litters, Libby has produced the same type of dog that she is: smart, quick learning, driven, style, good marking ability, as well as being loving companions in the home. If she couldn't produce herself or better, she wouldn't be bred.
UPDATE 8-10-2010: We have Libby pups on the ground. Born August 4th, sired by our male Bones. We will be adding more info on this, as well as updating the website as a whole.
